Democratic senators made it clear that they could not move forward by passing this spending increase law while Trump is waging an illegal war in Iran. Some senators strongly opposed some provisions designed to deepen intelligence cooperation with Israel.

’ had been passed by both houses of the US. According to which, President Trump must seek the approval of the House before taking military action against Iran. But , Trump, who declared a ceasefire with Iran on June 17, has now resumed fighting without informing the House.
That is why Democratic lawmakers have been describing this war as an illegal war started by Trump. Outside the House, a coalition of 14 civil rights organizations and foreign policy and anti-war organizations have also called for opposition to the NDAA bill.
