At least nine people were killed and 14 others injured when a house collapsed due to heavy rains in Kohat district of Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Monday, rescue officials said.
Rescue officials said 23 people were trapped under the debris after heavy rains caused flooding in Malgin area of Lachi area of the district.
Rescue teams from Kohat and Karak districts successfully rescued all the victims from the rubble and took them to nearby hospitals for treatment.
