Despite ongoing phased talks in West Asia, Pakistan has expressed deep concern over the renewed escalation of tensions. Pakistan has urged all parties to exercise restraint and resolve differences through dialogue and diplomacy.

Issuing a statement, Pakistan said that the new conflict between the United States and Iran is not in anyone's interest. Similarly, it has called on all parties to refrain from actions that would further undermine regional peace and stability.

The statement noted that there is no alternative to continuous engagement, dialogue, and diplomacy to achieve the shared goal of peace in the region.

The Foreign Office has urged all parties to uphold their commitments according to the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, describing the memorandum as a lasting foundation for mutual and shared prosperity in the region.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has also stated that it is always ready to play its role in supporting regional peace and stability.
