A typhoon killed 11 people and left one missing in central China's Hubei province on Monday night, according to provincial authorities.
The typhoon and strong winds hit Huangshi, Huanggang, Ezhou, and Xianning, officials said. The typhoon damaged 4,855 buildings, including 22 completely destroyed.
