US President Donald Trump has said that Iran's increased aggression in the last few hours will not do him any good. 'If the US is forced to start a war again, Iran will no longer exist,' Trump said.
Trump's warning came after the US attacked parts of Iran on Saturday.
The US carried out the attack in response to Iran's attack on a cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz. In response, Iran has also attacked US military bases in West Asia.
'Iran has again violated the peace agreement. In retaliation, US aircraft have attacked Iranian missile and drone and coastal radar storage sites,' Trump wrote. 'No matter how rational we try to be, there may come a point when we will be forced to finish what we have started militarily very successfully. If that happens, the Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist!'
