US President Donald Trump is holding a final round of talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping as he wraps up his state visit.
Earlier, Trump said in an interview with Fox News that Xi had pledged not to provide military equipment to Iran.
The US president also said that China wants the Strait of Hormuz to reopen and that Beijing has agreed to buy oil from the US.
On Thursday, Xi called the US-China relationship the "most important" in the world, while Trump described the talks as "very positive."
Earlier, the White House said that the high-level meeting, which lasted about two hours, discussed trade, oil and Iran, among other issues.
