US President Donald Trump has announced that he will extend the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon for another three weeks. In a post on Truth Social, he said the decision was made after a meeting between Israeli and Lebanese officials. The meeting was also attended by US Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Trump said that the US will work with Lebanon to protect itself from Hezbollah. Trump also said that he will welcome Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun to the White House next week. He also said that the Lebanese president and the Israeli prime minister will visit the White House next week.
