According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Interior of Qatar, four people were injured when fragments of a decommissioned missile fell in the area of Qatar.
They were immediately sent to the hospital after first aid by the rescue team and their condition is stable. The ministry stated that there was only limited material damage at the scene.
Meanwhile, the ministry has urged the public to follow the security instructions issued. In particular, it has been requested not to crowd the scene of the incident, not to approach, not to take videos or photos, and not to obstruct ambulances and security personnel.
Similarly, the public has been warned not to touch unfamiliar objects or remains and to immediately call 999 if they see them.
The ministry has also urged people to seek information only from official sources and not to spread rumors or unconfirmed information.
