US President Donald Trump has said the US will leave Iran “within two to three weeks”.
But for that, he said, they must be certain that the Iranian regime will not develop nuclear weapons for years. Speaking from the Oval Office, Trump said, “Iran is begging for a deal, but whether it happens or not is irrelevant to the US timetable.” Earlier, Iranian President Masoud Peshmerga said that there was “the necessary will” to end the war with Tehran but that the enemy would not attack again.
Angry over the lack of military support from countries including Britain in the Strait of Hormuz, Trump said that the US would not be available to help anyone there, saying, “Take your own oil.”
