Argentina has declared Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) a terrorist organization.
This was announced in a statement issued by the Argentine presidential office. According to international media Reuters , Argentina took this step on the accusation that the IRGC supports organizations such as Hezbollah.
The 1994 AMIA bombing in Buenos Aires was also cited. 85 people were killed in the bombing.
This decision will lead to financial sanctions and strict action against individuals and organizations associated with the IRGC.
