Ali Mohammad Naini, a spokesman for Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps, has been killed in an Israeli attack. According to Iran's semi-official Tasnim News Agency, Naini had been the spokesman since 2024. On Friday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that Iran's missile production center had been destroyed and that new missiles could not be produced. Naini issued a statement denying that claim.
Iranian state media confirmed his killing shortly after. The Revolutionary Guards have said that the war will continue until Israel is completely defeated.
Iran celebrated the New Year 'Nowruz' on Friday. However, people are not happy because of the war.
Iran is retaliating against countries in West Asia in protest of the attack on Tehran.
