The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has ordered the arrest of 10 people for allegedly publishing video clips of the country's air defense system intercepting an airstrike and allegedly fake videos of explosions and attacks.

According to UAE state media, the individuals who were issued arrest warrants are accused of sharing real videos of the attacks, as well as videos and images created by AI, on UAE websites and social media. They have been referred for urgent hearings.

Abu Dhabi Police said 45 people from various countries have been arrested for making videos and spreading misinformation about the attacks in the country. Earlier, a 60-year-old British national was also charged under the Cybercrime Law in Dubai last week. He is accused of making a video of an Iranian missile flying over the city.

Meanwhile, photos and videos claiming to be of truckloads of debris falling on tall government structures, a luxury hotel, and Dubai Airport are going viral on social media.
