At least 140 US soldiers have been injured in the 10 days since the US-Israeli attack on Iran. Of these, 8 are seriously injured, the US Department of Defense Pentagon said in a statement. 'About 140 US soldiers have been injured in the 10 days since the start of Operation Epic Fury. Most of the injuries are minor. 108 soldiers have returned to duty after treatment. Eight of the seriously injured soldiers are receiving advanced medical care,' the statement said.
Earlier, the international news agency Reuters had reported that 150 soldiers had been injured, citing two officials.
So far, seven soldiers have died in the Iran war. One more soldier died in Kuwait after showing health problems.
More than 1,250 people, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, have died in the US-Israeli attack on Iran.
