An internal report prepared by the US National Intelligence Council (NIC) states that even if a major attack is carried out on Iran, the government there is unlikely to fall. The Washington Post

The report, citing three sources familiar with the report, said, “The report casts doubt on the Trump administration’s claim that the war will end in three to four weeks.” The report was prepared a week after the war began, according to the people who spoke on condition of anonymity. The report states that the possibility of Iran’s opponents taking power in the country is unlikely.

Earlier, CNN reported that Russia has given Iran most of the information it receives through its advanced overhead satellite imagery.

A member of the intelligence community claimed that Iran may have retaliated only after receiving secret information from Russia. “In recent days, Iranian drones have attacked the same place where American troops are stationed. Six American soldiers were killed when Iran attacked a base in Kuwait housing US troops on Sunday, CNN reported.

US intelligence has also claimed that China is preparing to provide Iran with additional financial assistance and missile components. But this has not been independently confirmed. China has been urging both sides to stop the war. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has expressed concern that the flames of this war could spread.
