The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defense said on Wednesday that it had intercepted three ballistic missiles through its air defense system. Out of 129 drones identified, 121 were intercepted. Of these, 8 fell on the ground.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Defense, a total of 189 ballistic missiles have been sent from Iran so far. Of these, 175 have been destroyed. 13 have fallen into the sea and one missile has fallen inside the country.
Out of 941 Iranian drones, 876 have been intercepted and 65 have fallen inside the UAE. In addition, the ministry said that 8 mobile missiles were also identified and destroyed.
Three people, including a Nepali, a Pakistani and a Bangladeshi citizen, were killed in these incidents. 78 people, including citizens of the UAE, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon and Afghanistan, were slightly injured.
The Ministry of Defense strongly condemned the military attack, calling it a clear violation of national sovereignty and international law. Defense reserves the right to take all necessary measures and retaliate to ensure the security of its territory, citizens and residents and to protect national interests, security and stability.
