Most American people sympathize with Palestine.

A Gallup poll released after the devastating Gaza war found that the American public sympathizes with the Palestinians. For the first time, the pollsters also said that the American public sympathizes with the Palestinians more than with Israel.

According to the survey, 41 percent of Americans support the Palestinian cause, while 36 percent support Israel. The rest are undecided or dislike both. Last year, the survey results were the opposite. At that time, 46 percent of Americans were sympathetic to Israel and 33 percent to the Palestinian cause.

According to the survey, Republican voters still strongly support Israel. Of the Republican voters who participated in the survey, 70 percent said they supported Israel. Of the Democratic voters who participated in the survey, 65 percent said they supported the Palestinian people.
