Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has crossed one hundred million followers on Instagram.

Modi has become the world's first politician to break this record on the social network Insta.

According to news agency PTI, Modi opened an Instagram account in 2014. 

In the last decade, his account has become the most active and popular among world leaders. 

Modi now has the most followers on Instagram among major world leaders. Modi's followers on this platform are twice as many as US President Donald Trump.
