According to news agency PTI, in an official statement, on February 23, i.e. Monday, the Redbird Airways Pvt. Ltd. Beechcraft C-90 aircraft had flown a medical evacuation (air ambulance) flight in the Ranchi-Delhi sector. However, the aircraft crashed in Kasaria panchayat of Chatra district of Jharkhand.
There were seven people on board the plane, including two flight crew members. The plane took off from Ranchi at 7:11 am local time. After establishing contact from Kolkata, contact with the plane was lost from Kolkata's radar at 7:34 pm. At that time, the plane was said to be about 100 nautical miles southeast of Varanasi.
