Students have demonstrated against the government at some universities in Iran, with international media reporting that another large-scale demonstration took place on Saturday, following the government's violent crackdown on protesters last month.

International news agency BBC has confirmed the video of the march on the campus of Sharif University of Technology in the capital Tehran on Saturday. The video later shows clashes between protesters and government supporters.

Students have also staged a sit-in at another university in Tehran. On the other hand, international media reported that protest rallies were also held in the northeast. It is said that government supporters attacked the students as they were paying tribute to the thousands of protesters killed last month.

Since then, the US has increased its military presence around Iran. US President Donald Trump has hinted at military action against Iran. He said in a statement to reporters that information about this will be available within a week.
