Five young people have died in a fire in the storage room of an apartment building in northeastern Spain.

The fire broke out in a five-story building in Manly, a small town 80 kilometers north of Barcelona, ​​shortly after 9 p.m. on Monday. Fire officials said residents raised the alarm and called the fire department. Four other people were slightly injured in the fire, they said. The identities of the deceased have not been released. However, fire officials said none of the dead were residents of the building. Officials said the fire broke out in a warehouse on the top floor of the building. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
