At least 10 security personnel have been killed and several others injured in a suicide attack on a military post in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.

According to BBC Urdu, a vehicle packed with explosives detonated at a security checkpoint in the Malangi area of ​​Bajaur district. The building was previously a madrasa and was later converted into a security checkpoint. 

Police officials confirmed that at least 10 security personnel were killed in the attack. The dead included a policeman and nine Frontier Corps soldiers.

There has been no official statement from the Pakistani military yet. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi condemned the attack.
