One person killed in US immigration officer shooting

A man has died after being shot by federal immigration officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.

The deceased is local Alex Pretty, 37.

Just three weeks ago, an immigration agent shot and killed a woman named Renee Good. Since then, Minneapolis has been rocked by ongoing protests against the government's anti-immigration activities.

Homeland Security Secretary Christy Noam said that the agent fired in self-defense after Pretty, who was participating in the demonstration, behaved unruly. Minnesota Governor Tim Walsh denied this, saying that federal officials lied.

He has ordered federal agents to leave Minnesota immediately. Similarly, the state government has said that the incident will be investigated.
