Iran's Civil Aviation Authority said flights have resumed in the country since Thursday morning.
On Wednesday, Iran announced the closure of its airspace to all but a limited number of flights with prior permission from the aviation authority.
The decision was taken after US President Donald Trump warned that he could order an attack. Protests have been ongoing in Iran for the past few days.
Trump has been warning against suppressing the protests. He has also said that the US will intervene if they are suppressed.
The protests entered their 19th day on Thursday. It is difficult to get an exact number of dead and injured as internet and telephones have been down for a week.
