At least 29 protesters are in police custody .
A police officer was injured when a protester threw an “ice shard” at him, city officials said. 1,000 people took to the streets of the city on Friday night.
Renee Nicole Good, 37, was shot and killed by an ICE agent on Wednesday.
The federal government and the state government of Minnesota have been giving different statements on the matter.
The federal government claims that the agent fired in self-defense. Meanwhile, local officials have been saying that the woman posed no threat to the agent and that the shooting was unnecessary.
