CBS News reported. The US has arrested Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores following the attack. The US side said they were brought to New York on Saturday afternoon.

The court ruling states that she has been given the authority to run the government in the absence of the president.
Meanwhile, at a press conference held at his resort in Miami, Florida, on Saturday, US President Donald Trump claimed that the US would run Venezuela itself until peace is restored. But Venezuelan officials have reiterated their stance that they will not surrender to the US.
