Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Russia of not wanting peace. Zelensky made the accusation while in Florida for talks with US President Donald Trump.

Russia carried out air and drone strikes on several areas of Ukraine, including Kiev, on Friday.

Two people were killed and 32 injured in a 10-hour-long missile and drone strike, local officials said. Zelensky said the attack, which came as preparations for talks were underway, showed Russia was not in favor of peace.

He will meet with Trump on Sunday to discuss ending the four-year war. The two sides will discuss a 20-point peace plan put forward by the United States.

The plan is a revised version of a 28-point draft put forward by US envoy Steve Witkoff. Russia, which had previously accepted the initial draft, has not accepted the revision.

Zelensky will discuss Ukraine's future security guarantees at a meeting at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. Russia has occupied most of Ukraine's eastern Donbas region (about 75% of Donetsk and 99% of Luhansk). Zelensky has said that if Russia withdraws its troops, he will also withdraw his troops from the region. He has said that a "free economic zone" could be established in the region. Russia has not commented. Russia is demanding that it take over the territory.
