President Donald Trump recently authorized the release of these files. The files include the names or photos of famous people such as former US President Bill Clinton, British royal family member Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, Mick Jagger and Michael Jackson.
Many people have been linked to the Epstein case before. But they have claimed that they did nothing wrong with Epstein.
Businessman Jeffrey Epstein died under suspicious circumstances in prison in 2019. He is accused of operating luxurious resorts around the Caribbean and taking young girls there to serve the wealthy.
The girls have complained about sexual abuse during this time. Britain's Prince Andrew has decided to leave the palace after a dispute over his relationship with Epstein. Many such high-profile people, politicians and businessmen have been linked to this case.
In the past, Trump has also been accused of having a relationship with Epstein. Trump's name was also mentioned in the previously leaked Epstein emails. Epstein's name was mentioned when he spoke to a third party.
But no documents have been found directly establishing a relationship between Trump and Epstein. The BBC reported that Trump's name and photo have not yet appeared in the new public files.
