The murder of a wife and two daughters in Uttar Pradesh for not wearing a burqa is currently the talk of the town in India. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has expressed grief over the incident and said that strictest action will be taken against the killers.

A man shot and killed his wife in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday for not wearing a 'burqa'. Shamli SSP NP Singh told the international media organization BBC that he also killed his two daughters to hide the incident.

According to the police officer, the accused also killed his two daughters to hide the murder of his wife and buried all three bodies in his own house. According to the police, the man named Farooq had five children, three daughters and two sons.

SSP NP Singh said, 'A month ago, Farooq's wife was asking for some money to go to her relatives. After an argument over this, she went to her relatives without wearing a burqa. Due to which Farooq felt that his wife did not respect him. It seems that he planned to kill his wife after that.'
