US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that there were very good talks between Ukrainian, European and US officials in Geneva.

The talks on the 28-point peace plan proposed by US President Donald Trump and Ukraine were held on Sunday. The joint statement issued after the talks stated that the discussions were result-oriented.

This is a living document. It is being changed every day , ’ US Secretary of State Rubio said , ‘ It can be changed. We had a very good discussion today. But we need more time. Its European partners have expressed dissatisfaction with the peace plan put forward by the US, saying that it has given too much concession to Russia.

This plan states that Ukraine should hand over some territory to Russia. Similarly, it states that the number of troops should be reduced and that it should not participate in NATO.

A spokesperson for the US State Department said that the US prepared this document after seeking suggestions from both Russia and Ukraine.  He said the document would be revised again to incorporate the discussions in Geneva on Sunday.
