Trump approves reopening of Epstein-linked finals

What you should know

US President Donald Trump has signed a decree ordering the US Department of Justice to open files related to Jeffrey Epstein.

This proposal has already been passed by both chambers of the House (House and Senate).

US President Donald Trump had previously called on Republican lawmakers not to block the finals related to Epstein.

Earlier, a document related to Epstein, more than 20,000 pages long, was made public. President Donald Trump's name is also included in some pages of the document.

But Trump has been saying that he did nothing wrong. He is claiming that the Democratic Party spread false rumors against him for political gain.

Who is Epstein?

Businessman and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein died suspiciously in prison in 2019. He was accused of operating luxurious resorts around the Caribbean Sea and taking young girls there to serve the wealthy.

In this process, young girls have complained of sexual abuse. Britain's Prince Andrew has decided to leave the palace after a dispute over his relationship with Epstein. Many high-profile individuals, politicians, and businessmen have been linked to this case.
