'Development has been won. Public welfare has been won. Social justice has been won,' Prime Minister Narendra Modi said while addressing a victory rally at the BJP headquarters in Delhi.

From the opposition grand alliance, the Rashtriya Janshakti Party (RJD) candidates have won in 19 seats, while the party candidates are leading in another 8 seats.  Congress I has won 3 seats and is leading in 3 seats. Politics of allowances

The government led by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had introduced various schemes targeting voters in recent months. The Chief Minister's Employment Scheme was one of the strategic schemes. Under this scheme, which was launched last September, Rs 10,000 was directly transferred to the accounts of about 75 lakh women to start small businesses. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had also reminded them in his election rallies that in the last two decades, women were given reservation in local bodies, jobs and Rs 10,000 assistance to those who wanted to start their own businesses.

NDA alliance's 'tsunami' in Bihar elections Poll observer and former Patna College principal Naval Kishore Chaudhary said that people voted in favor of development. 'Women should They have voted especially on the basis of the reservation received at the local level and the 10,000 they received under the Chief Minister's Employment Scheme. They consider Nitish Kumar as a development-loving leader,' Chaudhary told Hindustan Times. He said that people have also rejected the politics of dynasty. Similarly, just a short time before the elections, the government had announced free electricity up to 125 units, effective from September 1. Nearly 20 million families in the state had directly benefited from this scheme. The Nitish Kumar government had also recently increased the allowances given to senior citizens and people with disabilities. The opposition grand alliance opposed these schemes brought before the elections, but could not stop them. The grand alliance had also made ambitious plans public in its election manifesto titled 'Tejaswika Prana'. He had promised to introduce a bill in Parliament within 20 days of forming the government and provide employment to one person in every household, provide a monthly allowance of Rs 2500 to women, and increase the allowance of senior citizens and the disabled.
