Exit poll results in the Bihar assembly elections have predicted a majority for the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

With this, NDA workers have started celebrating in Patna city, the Bharatiya Janata Party office and the Janata Dal United office.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that the people of Bihar have expressed their faith in good governance and development. ‘Bihar has always given priority to development and stability. This exit poll shows that the people are in favor of good governance and development.’

The slogan ‘Phir Ek Bar Nitish Sarkar’ was echoed in the Janata Dal United (JDU) office. Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Samrat Chaudhary said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, development has been coordinated at both the center and the state.

Most exit polls have predicted that the NDA will get a majority and the Congress-Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) grand alliance will come in second place. Similarly, exit polls have indicated that the Janasuraj Party led by Prashan Kishor may win only a few seats.

However, RJD national spokesperson Manoj Kumar Jha has dismissed this. "Exit polls have always shown results in favor of the ruling party. People have voted for change. This will be clear once the counting begins."

Bihar went to polls in two phases on November 6 and November 11 in 243 constituencies.
