Nine people have been seriously injured after a passenger was stabbed on a train in the UK. Speaking about the incident on Saturday night, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said it was a "deeply disturbing incident".
The incident took place on a train travelling from Doncaster to Kings Cross in northern England. Police said 10 people were taken to hospital for treatment.
Citing eyewitnesses, Al Jazeera wrote: "A man came carrying a large knife. After the incident, I hid in the bathroom. There was blood everywhere." Some passengers told the British media outlet The Times that the attackers attacked passengers one after the other.
