Due to continuous rain since Friday, not only the districts of eastern Terai of Nepal have been affected, many districts of the neighboring state of Bihar have also been affected. In some districts, the risk of flooding has increased.

According to IMD, flash flood warning has been issued in Bihar's Patna, Bhavua, Arwal, Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohtas, Saran, Siwan, Araria, Banka, Begusarai, Bhagalpur, Darbhanga, Gaya, Jamui, Khagdia, Lakhisarai, Madhepura, Madhubani and Munger districts. Similarly, flood warning has been issued in Nawada, West Champaran, East Champaran, Purnia, Saharsa, Samastipur, Shivhar, Sitamarhi and Vaishali districts.
Among these areas including West Champaran, East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Madhubani and Araria are at risk of flooding.
