Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar has said that 10 people were killed and 30 others were injured in a suicide attack targeting the headquarters of the paramilitary force in Balochistan province of southwestern Pakistan.
According to him, the attack took place around 11:30 a.m. local time in the capital Quetta. According to Xinhua, the security sources said on condition of anonymity that the terrorists rammed a vehicle filled with explosives into the outer wall of the headquarters and the four terrorists fell inside the building.
After the attack, they were shot dead by the security forces and their bodies were taken for investigation, sources said.
Quoting Muhammad Zeeshan, operations manager of the non-governmental organization foundation in Quetta, Xinhua reported that the dead included seven civilians and three security personnel, and the injured included nine security personnel, including an officer.
He said that the bus and rickshaw were at the scene when the explosion occurred and most of the dead and injured were passengers in the vehicle.
Stating that the injured have been transferred to Quetta Civil Hospital, he has mentioned that the condition of many is critical.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif condemned the attack and said that terrorists who harm innocent citizens and try to undermine the integrity of the country will be dealt with according to the law.
