Demonstrations in London in support of banned group 'Palestine Action', more than 425 arrested

In Britain, there has been a protest against the banning of a group called 'Palestine Action'. The police arrested more than 425 people during the demonstration.

Hundreds of people gathered in Parliament Square in central London to protest the ban. Many protesters were carrying placards in their hands. In which 'I oppose genocide. I support Palestine's action.

The Metropolitan Police said that most of those arrested are supporters of banned organizations. It is alleged that more than 25 people tried to attack the police and many of them vandalized public property.

The government banned the Palestine Action Group under anti-terrorism laws last July. According to the said law, it is a crime to be a member of the said organization or to support it. If found to have done this, there is a legal provision of imprisonment up to 14 years.

is the group running the 'Palestine Action' campaign. Its spokesperson has responded against the ban and said, "The protest against the ban is increasing rapidly. With the presence of hundreds of people in the demonstration, it is now impossible to impose a ban against their group and it is a waste of resources to do so."
