The court has ordered to give personal security to the person who registered the complaint against Indian Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

The Allahabad High Court Laganau Bench has directed the person who filed a complaint against Rahul Thandhi in the name of the Central Government to immediately depute a security officer of the Central Armed Police Force.

According to 'Live Law', the complainant filed a complaint against Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi and Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on several issues and mentioned that after questioning about her citizenship, there was a threat to her life.

This order was given by the bench of Justices Sangita Chandra and Brijraj Singh while hearing the petition of S. Vignesh Shishir . Shishir has filed a public interest petition in the Allahabad High Court regarding the validity of Rahul Gandhi's citizenship.

He filed a complaint against Rahil Gandhi in June 2024 at the CBI's Special Crime Branch in Laganau. The CBI later transferred the complaint to the Anti-Corruption Branch in New Delhi.

In the complaint, he has claimed that Rahul Gandhi is a British citizen and Gandhi hid this fact while contesting the election.
