After reaching Tokyo, Modi said: Japan's technology and India's talent can lead the technology revolution

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Japan's capital Tokyo on Friday. Modi is on a four-day visit to Japan and China. Modi arrived in Japan at a time when India-US relations were strained due to US President Donald Trump's trade and tariff policies.

Addressing the India-Japan Joint Economic Forum on Friday, Modi said that Japan has always been an important partner in India's development. He said, 'From metro to manufacturing, from semiconductor to startup, our partnership in the green sector has become a symbol of mutual trust.' In addition, Modi said that India has political and economic stability and has a transparent policy. He further said, 'Today, India is the world's fastest growing main economy. And soon it will become the third largest economy in the world.'

Modi says that he emphasized on the index of business environment (ease of doing business). Modi has said that India has made an ambitious start in AI, semiconductor, quantum computing, biotech and space. He further said, 'Japan's technology and India's talent can lead the technology revolution of this century.'

After his visit to Japan, Modi will go to China to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is also scheduled to meet Modi in China. It is said that heads of state of 26 countries of the world including Russian President Vladimir Putin will participate in the SCO meeting.
