15 people died when a house collapsed in Virar area of ​​Palghar district in Maharashtra, India.

According to local officials, three more bodies were recovered from the wreckage on Thursday. This four-storied building in Vijay Nagar area collapsed around 12 o'clock on Wednesday night.

According to eyewitnesses, 12 flats in one part of the building suddenly collapsed while a one-year-old girl's birthday was being celebrated on the fourth floor. 

The guests who came to celebrate the girl's birthday and many people there were trapped under the debris. Palghar District Collector Dr. Indu Rani Zakhar confirmed that the death toll has reached 15.
