Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) report a lie.

According to the IPC report, there is a famine situation in Gaza City and its surrounding areas. The IPC said that the level of famine in Gaza is severe and the highest.

The statement given by the Prime Minister's Office said, "Israel's policy is not starvation. Instead, there is a policy to prevent starvation.

He said that since October 2023, 2 million aid has been given to Gaza Strip. According to him, the amount of which will be more than one ton for each person.

Netanyahu has also claimed that the price of food and drink in Gaza has decreased due to increased support from Israel. He said that the IPC report did not mention the subject of price reduction of such items.

The statement says, "Like all the recent IPC reports, this report also ignores the issue of Israel's humanitarian efforts and the theft of aid by Hamas."
