Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has also threatened a few days after Pakistan Army chief Asim Munir threatened a nuclear attack on India.

In a ceremony held in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, he warned that India, which threatened to cut off water, could not take even a drop of water from Pakistan.

He said, "I want to tell the enemy that if you threaten to cut off our water, remember that we will not be able to take even a drop of Pakistan's water." In a threatening language, Sharif said, 'If you show such threats and behavior again, we will teach you a lesson again that you will hold your own ears.' Earlier, Munir had warned that if India shuts off the water, it will drop nuclear bombs and destroy the dam itself. India has not yet responded.
