The agreement between the US and China not to impose tariffs against each other has been extended for another 90 days. When the time of the first agreement was about to expire, an additional agreement was reached between the two countries for three months.

US President Donald Trump's executive order has been signed on Monday. In this order, the agreement made last May has been kept intact . At that time, both countries temporarily suspended tariffs on each other's materials.

The US threatened to impose additional tariffs on Tuesday if the agreement period is not extended . In the conversation held last month, China said that both sides will try to reach an agreement.

The American official said that he was approving of Trump . Tensions over trade peaked in April.

Trump announced the imposition of tariffs on goods from many countries in the world. China was also heavily taxed. In response, China also imposed tariffs on American goods.

According to the agreement in May, Chinese materials imported into the US were subject to an additional 30 percent tax at the beginning of the year. China also added a new 10 percent tariff on American goods.
