The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) announced on Tuesday that about 28 children are dying daily in the Gaza Strip due to starvation and shelling caused by the Israeli blockade. Life in Gaza is becoming chaotic due to the 22-month conflict between Israel and Hamas.

Stressing Gaza's children's urgent need for food, clean water, medicine and safety, UNICEF said, "More than anything, they need a ceasefire." The Israeli army has closed Gaza's borders since March 2 and blocked vehicles carrying supplies and aid from entering the Gaza Strip. Because of this, it is said that it has caused famine crisis in Gaza. 

26 people died in the Israeli attack on Gaza

Gaza City - According to the civil security agency of Gaza, at least 26 people died on Tuesday due to Israeli shooting and airstrikes. 14 of them were killed while waiting for food near the aid distribution center. 

8 people waiting for help in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza and 6 people in central Gaza were killed by Israeli army fire, according to international media. Similarly, it is reported that five people were killed in a night air attack on a tent located in Al-Mawasi area. Additional attacks near Gaza City and in Khan Younis are reported to have killed seven people. 

The people of Gazali say that even when humanitarian aid distribution centers are crowded every day, shooting incidents are repeated. The Israeli military said it is investigating the incident.
