Thailand-Cambodia soldiers fired at each other. Since Thursday morning, both sides have accused each other of firing.

International media BBC reported that after a Thai soldier was injured in a landmine explosion on the border just a day ago, both sides fired at each other on Thursday.

After the incident on Wednesday, Thailand recalled its ambassador from Cambodia. The Thai army said that two of its soldiers and three civilians were injured.

The Thai embassy has appealed to its citizens to leave Cambodia amid border clashes. Thailand's Ministry of Education has closed all schools near the disputed border in Thailand's Surin province.
