Two Nepali students studying at Louisiana Tech University have died in a car accident in America.

22-year-old Rajan Yadav and 20-year-old Rosin Oli from Nepal died in the accident, local authorities informed. 

According to international media, the car they were driving crashed into a tree and fell off the road amid the storm and heavy rain. The accident happened around 9 pm local time on Saturday, July 13.

2 people riding in the Honda Accord with them were injured. Two injured passengers were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Louisiana State Police Troop F is investigating a crash on US Highway 80 west of Louisiana Highway 507. The identities of both the deceased Nepali students in Nepal have not been revealed yet.
