The 'Nepal Day' event will be held on July 20 in Seoul, the capital of South Korea.

It is said that Nepali culture, language, art and tourism will be promoted internationally in the program organized by the Government of Nepal and the Nepali Embassy in South Korea and the National Coordinating Council of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), South Korea.

The main purpose of 'Nepal Day' is to strengthen the sense of mutual trust, cooperation and unity among the Nepalis in Korea, as well as to expand cultural relations between Nepali and Koreans. Shivamaya Tumwahamfe said .  The

program will start at 9:00 a.m. at Maroney Park near Exit 2 of Hwa Station (Line 4) in Seoul. In the program, various cultural presentations will be made with the aim of introducing Nepal to the world stage. In particular, the historical message that 'Buddha was born in Nepal' and the national pride that 'Mt. Everest is the highest peak in the world' will be presented as the main themes of the program.

In addition to that, various programs focused on Nepali art, traditional culture, folk music, dance and tourism promotion will be presented. These presentations are expected to give the participants a vivid sense of Nepal's cultural diversity. For the successful planning and management of the

program, NRNA South Korea will be the co-organizer, while Nepali Contact Committee (NCC), Nepal Tribal Federation, Nepal Journalist Federation, Nepali Student Society and other provincial and regional societies will provide special cooperation and facilitation. Sunil Kandangwa, a Nepalese from Korea, expressed the belief that the special opportunity of the

program will take Nepal-Korea relations to a new height, build bridges of cultural exchange and friendship, and highlight the dignity of the entire Nepali community.
