President Donald Trump is getting angry at Mamdani, a candidate for the mayor of New York. President Trump has expressed outrage saying that "an immigrant who is a naturalized citizen should not be promoted to an important position."

Trump said Mamdani was an illegal immigrant and threatened to arrest him if he obstructed the arrest of undocumented immigrants in New York City, according to The New York Times. "Many people are saying that Mamdani is living here illegally," President Trump said, "We will look into everything about Mamdani."
