Three people died in a helicopter crash at the Aden Ade International Airport in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia. The helicopter of the Ugandan Air Force was being used by the African Union, which was deployed to establish peace in Somalia.

Al Jazeera quoted the staff of the airport as saying that the helicopter crashed while landing. Detailed information about the condition of the other two people has not yet come. 

BBC quoted an employee of a hotel near the airport as saying, 'We heard an explosion .  The helicopter was engulfed in smoke and flames.'
