Although the Israeli air defense system managed to neutralize 7 missiles, the remaining three missiles fell on Israeli soil, state-owned Kan Television reported. The missiles fell on the Israeli city of Ashdod, Yavne and northern Israel. So far, no information has been released about human casualties in the attack. Colonel Yaron Bar Dayan of the Israeli Home Front Command said that a missile with a cluster warhead was used in the attack, saying that it is likely to cause widespread damage. 

Israeli attack on Iran's military sites

Similarly, on Monday, more than 15 warplanes launched a missile attack on military infrastructure sites in the Kermansah region of western Iran, the Israeli Air Force said in a statement. Israel also attacked Iran's underground nuclear site at Fordow, south of Tehran. Just a day ago, the US also attacked Iran's three nuclear sites in Isfahan and Natanz along with Fordo. "Aggressors (Israel) have attacked the Fordow nuclear site again," Tasnim news agency quoted a spokesman for Qom province's crisis management authority as saying. 

While US President Donald Trump claims the attack ended Iran's nuclear capabilities, other officials say it is too late to determine the impact on Tehran's nuclear program. 

On Sunday midnight, the Israeli Air Force bombed a ballistic missile engine factory in Iran's Shahroud. This area is about 2000 km away from Israel. It is said that several engines and other materials were destroyed in the attack. Besides, Israel also carried out air strikes on Tehran, Kermanshah and Hamadan. Iran executes a man for espionage 

Iran's judiciary has sentenced a man to death on Monday after he was found guilty of spying for Israel. "Mohammed-Amin Mahdavi Shayesteh, an Iranian citizen, was hanged this morning on the charge of assisting the Jewish regime (Israel) as a spy," said a statement released by Iran's court. Shayesteh was accused of having links with Mossad, Israel's foreign intelligence agency. 

US asks China to stop Iran from closing key trade routes 

After the Iranian parliament passed a decision to close the Hormuz waterway, an important trade route, after the US attack, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio asked China to coordinate with Iran to stop this move immediately.
