Chinese nationals left Tehran for Turkmenistan by land on Tuesday. China has started preparations to gradually bring those who crossed the border.

India has also started the process of bringing back its citizens in Iran from Tuesday. On Tuesday, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement saying that the students have been moved to safe places inside Iran and that new possible options are also being studied. International media CNN said that Indian students studying in Iran have started moving from the capital Tehran to other cities and some Indian students are going to Armenia, a bordering country of Iran. According to the Indian media Hindustan Times, there are 4,000 Indians in Iran. It is estimated that half of them are students.

Pakistani students in Iran are also returning home by land for security reasons. Pakistani students studying at Tehran University of Medical Sciences also returned home on Tuesday.

While foreign nationals in Iran are trying to leave the country, Iran has opened all borders to exit by land. Javed Hedayat, director general of Iran's transit bureau, told Tasnim news agency that all the country's borders have been opened for passenger and cargo vehicles.
